2017 / 2018

Hey Ho you wonderful people behind the screen :)

I sincerely hope you had a wonderful start into the new year!
I certainly did. Just want to give ya´ll a small look back on my 2017 and what´s about to happen in 2018.

2017 was way better than it´s predecessor. I achieved quite a few things, which I´m really proud of (you knwo I´m normally just a lazy person).
- I finished writing my book and published it on 4 June. Two years worth of writing, editing, scratching ideas together is finally out in the world. And I also started to translate it into English :)
- I scrambled all my bravery together and told my crush about the confusing feelings I have for him. He was super chill and we decided to stay friends, which I´m really glad about because I value his opinion and his friendship very highly.
- I moved out. Actually I had stopped looking for a flat but then an offer landed in my letter box and here I am - writing this post in my new and very own flat! <3
- I successfully finished the first year of my apprenticeship and made a wonderful new friend during the course of it (yes, Ellie, I´m looking at you). Wouldn´t wanna miss her for the world.
- my depression and anxiety reached a new high, although generally talking it got less worse.
2017 truly was my year.

2018 will be just as exciting.
- 30 January is the first important exam for my apprenticeship. Which is why right now is basically all about learning.
- I hope to finish translating my book and publish it in English as well.
- from 10. September until 02. November I will be in England (in Bath to be precise) because of an internship. I am so hyped about this. 2 months in bloody England - how much better could 2018 possibly get? <3
- and of course I hope to be able to make new acquaintances, live life to the fullest and generally have a lot of fun.

Happy New Year!!

Stay safe.

I found this quote today: and it got me thinking … Home isn´t a place, it´s a feeling. And even though I love my family and the house we´re living in and my friends and my work and basically everything – I haven´t come home yet. Maybe I felt home when I was little, when my only worries where to get a new dress for my Barbie dolls or to get that new Benjamin Blümchen cassette. But I can´t really remember it. So I´m sitting here on my bed, which I also really love btw and where I cuddle myself in my sheets when I´m scared or really really sad, and I wonder if I ever find my home, where I truly belong to. I like to believe in true love and that my soulmate is somewhere out there and that he is my home. Sometimes I dream about my future and see myself living in England, being married and having two daughters. In those moments I feel as if I´m almost there. I feel happy and can´t wait for my future to turn to the present. But what if I´m wrong? What if I don´t have...

The Future

Hello my sparkling Snowglobes! I hope you´re fine today :* Initally I wanted to talk about seasons, Autumn to be exact. But then another thought hit my brain: Where will I be in a few years? You know, I always had that dream that one day I will be living in England, London or a bit outside of London, working in a library. I still want that, but when exactly is "One Day" ? I´ve only just started my training to become a specialist in media and information services in a library, which means I´ll have to stay in Berlin for at least another three years, until I´ve finished that training. And after that maybe another year so that I can work in that branch for a bit. And then? The thought that I could literally move to England in four years scares me a bit. Of course moving there isn´t everything. I will have to look for a flat first and find a job. Not an easy thing. You probably can´t understand why I want to move to England. Or maybe you can. It´s just so weird, especially ...

Moving Out & stuff

Hey Ho my friends!! I´m going on an adventure! Nah, not really. But I´m moving out and that´s kinda the same, innit? My very first and very own flat. And it´s perfect. About 60 square-metres, 2 rooms (plus kitchen, bath and the hallway), a pantry and a balcony <3 We´re still painting the walls and laminating the floor but if everything goes to plan, I shall move in during the first weekend in January! I am so excited. After all, it´s what I always wanted! I´ll let you know once I live there. Other news include: I´ll stay in Bath for 8 weeks next year, for an internship #superexcited and my English teacher proof-reads the translation of my book "Don´t forget me" (working title) #stillexcited AND most importantly: I collected all my bravery and told my kinda-crush about my feelings for him (which are super confusing) and he was really sweet and chill about it. We decided to stay friends (because I´m not sure if I love him as a friend or more and he only said he likes...
