Why do we spend our whole life waiting? We´re waiting for the next weekend, vacation, for school to be over, the apprenticeship being over, having finished studying. We are waiting for someone to reply to our texts, to call back. We are waiting for our crush to notice us, for our parents to realise that we´ve grown up, for finally meeting our favourite celebrities. We spend our whole life waiting for it to finally begin. Why do we do that? What do we want to achieve by that? Why can´t we just stop waiting for a moment and cherish the little things we have? Like the fact that today, right now is happening and I am right here, being able to do anything I could imagine. School is preparing us for later but of what use are the lessons if we ignore them because we´re too busy to wait for later to happen.
